Free and open 7 days a week, dinosaur-themed Thunder Junction features a wheel-chair accessible playground, splashpad, and climbing wall. Enjoy a picnic in one of the pavilions or take a $2 ride around the park on a small-gauge train.
The park hosts special holiday-themed events for St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. Many of the staff are individuals with special needs. It’s a great place to spend an afternoon.
